Our firm has multiple openings for mid-level to senior professionals with experience providing comprehensive electrical services. Interested applicants must possess experience and knowledge in electrical systems, including wiring, troubleshooting malfunctions/issues, and installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment.

Supervision and management experience are required. Carrying out daily tasks, as well as long-range projects, is required. An ability to troubleshoot issues, handle emergency situations, and make sound decisions will be required.

All Grant employees must exhibit excellent communication skills to interact with the client, on-site personnel, and visitors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Undertake projects involving electrical wiring for lighting, safety, and other electrical systems
  • Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.)
  • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Ensure the electrical work fully complies with designs and requirements
  • Develop and implement plans to identify and carryout plans to address, correct, and minimize risk
  • Install safety and distribution components, such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks
  • Prevent system breakdown by inspecting and replacing old wiring and cables, cleaning circuits etc.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting
  • Ensure the successful completion of all projects

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma, technical school certificates, or equivalent required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred), with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician
  • Ability to identify, assess, and address various project risks and opportunities
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with inspection and preventative maintenance
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and working vehicle
