James P. Grant — CEO & Principal-in-Charge
James has more than 20 years of experience in building and facility operations and management, including reviewing and modifying operating plans and procedures, scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance, and providing energy efficiency solutions proven to save money.
James oversees all of Grant’s sales and operations, including marketing, technology, services, and support in all markets. He also heads Grant’s Six Sigma Process and is the driving force behind the company’s “integrative” services. Before joining the firm in 2005, James was a Six Sigma Master Black Belt at the nation’s second largest electronics retailers where he led a team that reduced annual expenses by $250 million.
James is a proud graduate of Robert Morris University, where he earned degrees in business administration and finance.
Jim N. Grant — Founder
With more than 40 years of experience, Jim is generally regarded as one of the foremost facilities experts in the tri-state region, while his specific expertise in health care has been requested by clients throughout the United States.
Jim’s passion and work ethic are legendary as he is a constant presence at the firm’s various project sites and client meetings. Throughout his decorated career, which started at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, and culminated with the 1998 founding of the firm bearing his name, Jim has maintained an unwavering commitment to client-centric values and services.
His in-depth knowledge of streamlined, responsive, and “integrative” facility management ensures that the building operations services we deliver are second-to-none.
Jim earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Robert Morris University and a master’s degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s University.
